- Description: This magnificent study or desk armchair in Louis XVI style embodies with complete grace the formal elegance of the late eighteenth century, read again through handwork of remarkable care. The solid wood frame has tapering, moving legs, finely carved with classical motifs that recall the purity of the neoclassical style. The arms, also modelled with delicate curves, follow the seat with a refined profile that joins beauty and usefulness. The shaped back, with its gentle curve, receives the sitter kindly, giving a comfortable posture without giving up the distinctive look of the Louis XVI period.

- Colour: Seat and back are covered in a fine sage green damask; the beige floral decoration creates a refined contrast of colour and gives the fabric a delicate play of light. The whole border is set off by a braid in the same shade.
