The top is made with the Palladian inlay technique, typical of the Vicenza tradition. Thin marble tesserae, differing in colour and origin, create a harmonious play of tone.

The final effect is bright and well chosen, returning the light in warm, natural shades.

The top is set into a frame of solid wood, finely shaped and stained walnut. This detail brings out the contrast between the marble and the warmth of the wood.

The whole rests on four turned, sinuous legs, well proportioned and harmonious.
