- Description: fall-front writing desk in black and gold wood. The upper part is dominated by the finely decorated fall front, whose opening reveals an inside laid out with balance. Within is hidden an elegant and practical writing surface, opening as a space given over to writing. At the centre stands out a small portico that gives depth to the inner space, and at its sides sit four small drawers. In the lower part is a drawer, also decorated, with the addition of a gilded knob that echoes the finish of the piece.

Writing surface: D 37 cm, W 60 cm. - Colour: The deep black ground, elegant and well chosen, is the perfect setting for the gold detail, applied by a practised hand to underline profiles, ornamental motifs and small particulars that enrich the piece. The contrast between the two tones gives an effect of remarkable finesse, able to catch the eye without ever becoming too much.
