- Description: Splendid headboard for a double bed in solid wood, carved entirely by hand and painted with craft skill. The piece stands out for the richness of its plant-form decoration, after the Baroque taste of the seventeenth century, with scrolls, leaves and stylised foliage that chase one another along the surface, giving a whole of remarkable elegance and movement. The outline of the headboard is enriched by carved borders and mouldings with dense decorative work and pierced sections done with great precision, which lighten it visually while keeping a solid, imposing structure.
