Late nineteenth-century mirror in solid wood with onion feet
Description
Elegant antique mirror of the late nineteenth century, marked by a restrained elegance and by an original patina that has come down perfectly preserved.
The solid wood frame shows handwork of high quality. The forms are simple but carefully built.
The wooden surface is smooth and keeps a warm, natural patina that brings out the depth of colour in the wood.
The mirror is set within the frame, with the edge slightly recessed. This gives an elegant architectural effect and adds visual depth.
At the bottom the piece stands on turned onion-shaped feet. They add stability and a refined decorative note.
