Refined original period engraving, datable to around 1840.

The work shows an evocative view of the «Land of Venice», with the city of Verona. The Veronetta quarter is recognisable, with the ancient Roman Theatre.

The print is made with engraving technique on paper of the period. The line is precise and rich in detail. The scene gives back the atmosphere of the Veneto landscape in the mid-nineteenth century.

The work is completed by a frame in finely carved wood. The workmanship sets off the whole with elegance and depth.
