Period print “Costume Parisien”, 1820 – French women's fashion

Refined period print from the celebrated series “Costume Parisien”, dated 1820 and devoted to French women's fashion of the early nineteenth century. These engravings, much prized by collectors and by students of the history of dress, are a valuable witness to the elegance and the trends that marked French society during the Restoration.

The work shows a female figure elegantly dressed according to the canons of the fashion of the day, with particular attention to the tailoring.
