Chest of drawers in eighteenth-century Venetian style, made in walnut, with the elegant bombé shape and curved fronts and sides typical of the Venetian tradition.
Chest of drawers in eighteenth-century Venetian style, made in walnut, with an elegant bombé shape and curved fronts and sides, in the taste typical of the Venetian tradition.
The body has three wide drawers below and two small upper drawers set under the top, a classical solution of Venetian furniture in the barocchetto taste. The moving, shaped legs give the whole lightness and balance, heightening its sinuous, refined line.
The piece is without knobs and handles, which are to be added: this allows the finish to be chosen while respecting the original style. The handwork and the harmony of the proportions make this chest particularly suited to classical, elegant rooms.
