The piece recalls the cultivated, refined air of Renaissance Florence, where art and beauty marked even the furniture of everyday life.

The walnut body is solid and well proportioned. The top is decorated entirely by hand.

The decoration reads Renaissance motifs with a contemporary eye. Floral and geometric elements recall the arabesques and miniatures found in the furnishings of Florentine noble houses.
