Splendid pair of chairs in the eighteenth-century Veneto taste, with the formal grace and refinement typical of the aristocratic furniture of the time.
Splendid pair of chairs in the Veneto style of the eighteenth century, with the formal grace and refinement that marked the aristocratic furnishing of the time. They stand out for their soft, harmoniously arched lines, their elegant and balanced frame and woodwork of a high order.
The design shows elements typical of the rocaille style: the sinuous, light front foot, an elegant and fluid visual movement, the balance between solidity and lightness. The open back is one of the finest elements, with its curved shape that takes the back, its light frame and the crest carved by hand with floral motifs.
The seat is padded and ready to be covered: it lets you choose the fabric, sets off the eighteenth-century style further and gives comfort and adaptability. The wood is sound and whole, with a fine patina of time and in very good condition.
